At Wild Trail Wellness, we believe in the power of community and shared experiences. We believe in keeping things simple, sustainable and genuinly enjoyable. Whether you're brand new to running, new to canicross, returning to fitness or just looking to level up, you deserve guidance that supports your real life, not just an idealised version of it. Here you'll find encouragement, evidence based support, and a community that supports every kind of progress.

I'm Louisa, I'm a keen runner with over 25 years experience on road and trail. I've completed over 45 events from 5km park runs up to 50km ultramarathons, triathlons and adventure races. I'm also a busy mum of two young kids and Macsen our beautiful black lab.
In 2021, I moved to South Wales after 13 years in Australia where my love for running trails really flourished. Whilst out there I ran a successful dog walking and pet sitting business whilst also working in the Fitness Industry. Soon after settling into life here in South Wales, Macsen joined the family and it was then that I realised I could combine my love for running trails with my love of dogs when I came across Canicross.
I was immediately inspired to become a Dogfit Certified Canicross Trainer after seeing the benefits Canicrossing brought to my relationship with Macsen (and his teenage behaviour!) and just knowing that running in the countryside together makes us so happy!
I'm also a qualified Welsh Athletics Leader in Running Fitness, with over 10 years experience in the Fitness Industry. I'm currently pursuing my Level 4 Nutrition and Level 5 Life Coaching qualifications. I'm fully insured, and also hold First Aid, DBS and Safeguarding qualifications and have recently become a Welsh Athletics VI Guide Runner.
